Amanat joined David Perkin's team in 2024 as Administrative Assistant. She graduated with Master of Management majoring in Accounting and Finance from University of Windsor in 2021. She is eager to enhance her knowledge and keep contributing to her team. In her personal time, she enjoys cooking, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Annette has been working as an administrative assistant to Lorea DeClercq, Michael Winters and Hitesh Morar since December 2023. A new face to the financial industry, Annette helps the team ensure that paperwork is sent to the proper places in an accurate and timely manner.
Annette graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in music composition and loves composing soundtracks for video games, most of which are developed in a weekend for competitions. She lives with her family in the Vancouver area and enjoys going to the movies and the aquarium.
Caroline has been working in office support roles since 1988, starting out with a local Court Reporting firm, first producing court documents for legal proceedings before moving to bookkeeping and scheduling. She then moved on to the print media industry with Business in Vancouver, holding roles such as data verifier, administrative sales support, customer service, and circulation administration. Looking for a new challenge, she joined Assante in January of 2024 and has not been disappointed.
Caroline lives in the west end of Vancouver just steps from Stanley Park and is an avid walker, bird spotter, and tree identifier.
Danielle joined the company in February 2004 as an administrative assistant. Later that year, she became the assistant to the Controller. Under the guidance of the Controller, Danielle quickly learned the accounting side of running a successful branch. When the Controller left the company in 2007, she took on the role of managing the branch.
Danielle oversees the daily operations of the Assante West Pender branch and ensures the branch is operating smoothly and efficiently. Whether it is ensuring that staff are happy, coordinating vendor contracts and services, ensuring office renovations are completed on time, or ensuring the office procedures and IT systems are functioning properly, she enjoys the challenge of wearing different hats as the occasions arise.
Danielle has a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of the South Pacific, Fiji Islands, with a double major in Management & Public Administration, and Information Systems. She has also taken various courses in Business Communications, Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Audit and Assurance, Taxation, and Management Information Systems through British Columbia Institute of Technology, Langara College, and Certified General Accountants of Canada which has now united with Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada under the CPA banner.
Emily Yau joined David Perkins' team in July 2014 as the office service support assistant and has moved into the current role of Associate Financial Advisor. While being highly organized, she has exceptional attention to detail, enjoys interacting with clients and providing superior service. Emily has an extensive background with over 15 years of experience in customer service and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia.
Having grown up in the Lower Mainland, Emily enjoys much of the West Coast such as the local hiking trails and beaches. She is an avid reader and enjoys the culinary arts.
Estelle works with Senior Wealth Advisor Suhel Popatia, and is highly committed to providing excellent service to their clients. Her duties include corresponding with clients, handling client inquires, trading activities, follow-ups on transactions, and drafting various financial planning documents and reports.
She has more than 6 years of experience with Assante Wealth Management. Estelle has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, and has over 11 years of prior experience in Administration, including 4 years as a legal assistant and 7 years as a leading Administrative Assistant in a global Fortune 500 company.
Estelle lives with her husband and two daughters in South Surrey, BC. She enjoys travelling and spending time with her family.
Gunn has been employed in the financial services industry since 1997. She has been working with Ken Labron since March 2010 and is highly committed to providing excellent service to his clients.
Gunn has a diploma degree from The Aarhus School of Business (Denmark) in Business Administration/Specialized Languages and also successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) in 2004 and the Professional Financial Planning Course (PFPC) in 2007. Gunn is multilingual and speaks 5 languages fluently.
Originally from Bergen, Norway, Gunn now lives in Richmond near Steveston with her two children, Karina and Alejandro, and their yellow lab, Nala.
Gurleen joined Assante at the beginning of 2024 as an Administrative Assistant with a focus on trade processing. She graduated from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University with a dual concentration. As a newcomer to the organization, Gurleen is eager to continue learning and expand her financial literacy.
In her personal time, Gurleen enjoys trying new recipes and spending time with her dog, Paco.
Miss Rajwani began working alongside Alim Dhanji, CFP in March of 2018. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Simon Fraser University in 2020. Iman’s main areas of responsibility include marketing & communications, event planning, and client relationship management. She brings a fresh perspective to the team and is committed to providing exceptional service. Throughout her time at Assante, Iman has discovered a passion for personal finance and is particularly determined to help increase financial literacy among millennials. She plans to continue adding value to her work by acquiring certifications in financial planning and insurance. When Iman is out of the office, she enjoys reading novels, spending time with family, and volunteering in her community through various portfolios.
June has over 20 years of experience as an administrative assistant in the financial services industry. Her focus is delivering superior client service while handling client inquires and trading activity.
June has been with our team since 1990, both at FPC Investments Inc., the previous service provider before its amalgamation with Assante in November 2002. She was awarded a 'Certificate of Appreciation' by the Assante Advisory Council for her work in helping other administrators across the country. She is well-respected by her peers and is very able to handle any technical issues related to your investments and the associated companies.
June lives with her husband in Delta, BC and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Before joining Assante in November 2023, Kess started her career at an investment firm in Kitsilano as an administrative assistant and worked there for a few years. She then tried out the banking industry, working at RBC as an Investment & Retirement Planning Associate before coming back to the full-service investment industry with Assante.
Kess lives in Coquitlam with her partner Carson and dog Echo. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Megan joined the Assante family in 2016 as an Administrative Assistant. In April of 2020 she transitioned to Executive Associate for “The Team,” working with Laurie Winters, Lorea DeClercq, Michael Winters and Hitesh Morar. Megan was born in Vancouver and graduated from Kwantlen Polytechnic University with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology. She has always had a keen interest in helping people. After University, Megan spent 3 years abroad working and traveling, spending time in Australia, England and exploring SE Asia.
She successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) in 2019 and is mutual fund licensed. She obtained her life insurance license in 2022.
Megan lives in East Vancouver with her partner, Aaron, and their fur babies, Loki (dog) and Marley (ferret). She loves going on adventures. In her spare time, you will find her outdoors; hiking, biking, or relaxing in a hammock.
Melanie joined David Perkins' team in 2010, bringing over 15 years of administrative experience and expertise in the field. In 2016, Melanie became the team's Paraplanner and serves our clients by assisting with the analysis and development of comprehensive financial plans. Prior to joining David's team at Assante, Melanie gained valuable analytical and planning experience excelling in her role as a bookkeeper. Melanie graduated from Okanagan University College with distinction in Office and Legal Administration.
Melanie lives with her family in Coquitlam. In her free time, you can find Melanie enjoying the outdoors or training for a half marathon.
Michelle joined David Perkins’ team in 2023 as an Associate Advisor. She has been advising clients since 2020. Growing up in Burnaby, Michelle attended the University of British Columbia, majoring in Food, Nutrition, and Health. She is now working towards the Qualified Associate Financial Planner designation and the Certified Financial Planner® designation.

Sara joined Assante in late 2021. She graduated with a double major in finance and international business from Vancouver Island University in 2020 and is currently in the process of obtaining her CFP designation.
Sara grew up in Colombia and is fluent in Spanish & English. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, cooking, and salsa dancing.
Sarah has been with Assante since January 2019 and in March 2020 she joined Lucas’s team as an Administrative Assistant. Sarah works closely with her team to assist with meeting preparation, investment administration and providing excellent service to clients. She excels in paying attention to detail and is a valued addition to the team.

Tasia has over 25 years experience in management within the banking and financial services industry. She has completed various financial industry qualifications including the completion of the Investment Funds in Canada (IFC), the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), the Branch Compliance Officers Course (ICB), and the Personal Financial Planner (PFP).
In her spare time, she enjoys travel, the outdoors and spending quality time with her family, friends and her two dogs.
Tiana joined the Assante Wealth Management family in 2021 as assistant to Shawn Purcell and Peggy Macrae. Tiana graduated from the University of Victoria, Gustavson School of Business with a focus in finance in 2020. When she is not in the office, Tiana spends her time in the kitchen baking and making fresh pasta. Tiana is eager to grow her knowledge under the guidance of Shawn and Peggy.
Vincianne joined Assante in 2016 working alongside Rich Widdifield and our in-house investment management team and wealth planning group.
As a driven associate financial advisor, Vincianne is always eager to help our clients and provide them with any details that they need. As a University of Ottawa graduate with a concentration in Economics, Vincianne continued her interest in the financial industry by becoming securities licensed. As a lifelong learner, Vincianne is continuing to build her expertise by completing more courses through the Canadian Securities Institute.
Vincianne calls Vancouver home and enjoys cycling, kayaking and yoga. After spending 8 years in South Korea, Vincianne also enjoys hosting dinner parties and sharing the recipes she learned overseas. Vincianne also volunteers for her local Canadian Association of Gift Planners chapter and supports the fundraising efforts of multiple local charities.
